Tracks like this only strengthen the feelings of why this guy makes music. The torch of Pete Parsons’ sound is passed on in a huge way with music like this. You can hear a number of DjFokus/Voyager traits seeping across the duration of ‘Last I Heard’, only strengthening why his sound is perfect for this label. To take a simple 4 key sound and surround it with the pads and use of breaks with such effect, only highlights the passion and vision that comes from NonRev. This is music created from feelings that run deep, reciprocating and bonding the listeners of this work.
